Chiang Mai City Experiences by Tuk Tuk

Pick up from the hotel lobby and hop on Tuk Tuk (Thailand unique local transportation). The journey starts at southern side of Chiang Mai old city, the first stop is to visit Sri Suphan Temple, which was the first Silver Ubosot (Chapel) in the world with the integration of the dispensation of the Buddha and the local Wualai Silver Handicrafts, the heritage which has been passed down from our forefathers over the past 200 years.

Next, take a ride to visit Chedi Luang Temple, which was built at the end of the 14th century. The great chedi was to remain the tallest structure in Chiang Mai and was once the home of the Emerald Buddha image, Thailand's most sacred religious relic. Visit to Phra Singh Temple, was built in the year 1345. This temple contains marvelous examples of Lanna art, including a Lanna style viharn and the finest scripture repository of its type in the north.

Continue to visit Three Kings Monument, a large open square of three founders of Chiang Mai which was considered as the symbol of Chiang Mai city located in the heart of the old town.

Visit Thapae Gate; this eastern main entrance gate is still the main center of Chiang Mai's public city activities and festivals. After riding through the old town, then visit to Warorote Market, the biggest local Market in Chiang Mai which sells everything from clothes and textiles to fruits, herbs, flowers, vegetables, and even insects. Then transfer back to the hotel
